A CHRISTMAS MESSAGE FROM THE PROVINCIAL GRAND MASTER

As we celebrate Advent, focusing on Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love, it is a time to reflect on the joy of being part of the Royal Order of Scotland family. This year, we welcomed seven new members to the Durham Province, though we also mourn the loss of dear friends Selwyn Beattie, Alan Gurney, David Shipley and David Youngson. We wish peace and comfort to their families during this difficult time.

Amid global strife, let us pray for universal peace, understanding, and wisdom for our leaders. May you have a wonderful Christmas with loved ones and a joyful 2026.
